New Ride

For about a month Michelle and I have been down to one car as my poor sick Land Rover sat out front. It started as a fever and developed into something terminal. Carpooling was actually pretty nice for us however. Michelle enjoyed being dropped off and picked up at the front door, saving her the cold walk and long shuttle ride she usually takes. We both enjoyed the extra time together each day, so we didn't rush ourselves finding a new car.

Last Thursday, we finally bought. We always swore we'd never buy new and never buy from a dealer, but believe it or not, in our situation and with the motor industry the way it is right now, we came out on top. Oddly enough, 2008's are going for more than the 2009's right now with all the rebates and incentives. Our salesman was born to sell cars. "JT" was normal enough in person, but when on the phone he sounded like a commercial, volume and speed increasing the more he said. So here it is...

"Oh The Places You'll GO!"

You should keep a travel journal/log in the glove box of your new vehicle. What are you going to name the newest member of your family?

J-Tim and M-Kat,

Wow, you guys have had quite a bit of fun since you got marred. I've heard about all of your fun trips and things you've done, but until now I didn't realize how much you have done. I'm glad you finally gave into temptation and started a blog. Now we can start showing Jaylee pictures of you, so she'll be able to remember you.

That rock climbing crag looks a lot like Crawdad Canyon in St. George.

Michelle, it looks like you've got a pretty sweet bike. Next time you come to Utar we'll have to run down to Moab so you can take another crack at slick rock. Hopefully next time you will rip the rock up and not have it rip you up. (Your elbow)

And finally, it looks like you've got a perty nice new car. Looks very snazzy. What are you going to name it? I give you full on permission to name it K-Smooth if you so desire.

Good job on finally doing a blog. Now just make sure you update it once in a while so we can see what you're up to.

By the way, if you're not counting, Florida is about 24 days a way. I dropped 10 lbs in January and I'm hoping to match that again by our trip.

Bring on the humidity!!!!

K-Smooth
